浙江省博物馆新馆（之江馆区）坐落于杭州市西湖区钱塘江畔，现已正式对外开放。步入馆内，从史前文明到现代社会的漫长历史脉络尽收眼底。青瓷、书画、丝绸等专题构成了馆区的常设展览主体。
“江南秘色——浙江古代青瓷陈列”是其中一大亮点。作为青瓷的发源地及汉代以来的核心产区，浙江青瓷凭借绝美的秘色釉与精湛技艺，曾引领世界审美风尚。该展厅通过呈现各地名窑精品，全景式展示浙江古代青瓷文化的面貌，凸显了当地制瓷业的发展历程、工艺特色及其对人类的深远影响。
《浙江一万年——浙江历史文化陈列》作为基本陈列，梳理了浙江悠久历史与荟萃人文。展览以时间为轴，呈现各个时期最具代表性的文物遗存与文明印记：“上山”一万年前，稻作起源；良渚五千年，文明璀璨；古越两千年，精耕勤战；两宋一千年，东南乐土；红船一百年，辟地开天。一代代浙江人传承弘扬积淀深厚的“浙江精神”，在中华文明发展史上谱写出绚丽的“越地篇章”。
